Hokkaido Ramen Santouka in Makati

Authentic ramen on a rainy Saturday, so blessed to have been able to get a table at Hokkaido Ramen Santouka in Glorietta 4. This international chain now in the Philippines often has a queue. So delicious and rich in flavor is the tonkotsu pork broth. Slow cooked for 20 hours and never allowed to boil. I added a kick of heat by ordering spicy miso to make slurping noodles more fun and exciting. The yummy dish was topped with bamboo shoots, nori and succulent cha-shu Kurobuta pork. On the side was soft-boiled sexy eggs called komi tamago.
