Time

Another term has ended,  so it breaks my heart when I have to fail students. For me it is not about the money but the TIME that is wasted. Remember I always start you off with a 4.0 and then it is up to you to screw it up. Then again… grades do not define you as a person. So believe in yourself and the world is your oyster. Believe in yourself because I did. All you had to do was try  or try harder.  Anyway here’s a poem that I would like to share:

The Time Poem
Anonymous

To realize the value of ONE YEAR,
ask a student who has failed his final exam.

To realize the value of ONE MONTH,
ask a mother who has given birth to a premature baby.

To realize the value of ONE WEEK,
ask the editor of a weekly newspaper.

To realize the value of ONE DAY,
ask a daily wage laborer who has ten kids to feed.

To realize the value of ONE HOUR,
ask the lovers who are waiting to meet.

To realize the value of ONE MINUTE,
ask the person who has missed the train.

To realize the value of ONE SECOND,
ask the person who has survived an accident.

To realize the value of ONE  MILLISECOND,
ask the person who has won a gold medal at the Olympics.

Treasure every moment that you have. Time is a coin you can spend only once. Use it, invest it, make it count, and treasure it more because you shared it with someone special. Special enough to have your time and remember time waits for no one.
